Huawei S12710 is an enterprise-level core switch launched by Huawei, belonging to the CloudEngine series. It is mainly applied in large-scale campus networks and data center scenarios. This device adopts a modular design, supporting flexible expansion of business boards and interface types. It is equipped with a self-developed ENP chip and provides high-density gigabit / 10-gigabit port access capabilities.
The hardware adopts a front and rear ventilation structure, equipped with redundant power supply and fan modules. The physical dimensions are 663.95×442×489mm, the weight is 28.6kg, and it supports DC-72V voltage and a maximum power input of 4400W. The device's switching capacity reaches 256Tbps, with a maximum packet forwarding rate of 72000Mpps. It supports TRILL protocol, IRF2 virtualization technology, and multiple security authentication mechanisms (MAC address authentication, Portal authentication, etc.).
