CloudEngine 16816 is an enterprise-level data center core switch launched by Huawei. this Data Center Core Switch adopts a standard front and rear air duct cooling design and is suitable for large-scale network deployment scenarios. Its hardware configuration includes a switching capacity of 734Tbps/3096Tbps and a packet forwarding rate of 460,800Mpps. It supports high-density port access and modular expansion, and is equipped with 16 service slots and 6-9 expandable switching network slots.

This Data Center Core Switch is based on the Clos switching architecture, integrates cell switching and VoQ technology, supports M-LAG multi-active gateway, VS virtualization (1:16) and CSS cluster architecture, and can build an elastic data center network. Network security is enhanced through micro-segment security, hardware BFD detection (3.3ms interval), and VxLAN routing/bridging functions. Meanwhile, it is equipped with telemetry data acquisition, ERSPAN enhanced analysis, and NETCONF automated configuration interfaces to achieve intelligent operation and maintenance management.
