Description

CloudEngine 6865E-48S8CQ is a high-performance data center switch in the CloudEngine 6800 series, designed for high-density 10GE/25GE access and 40GE/100GE uplink scenarios, positioned at the core or aggregation layer of enterprise level networks. ‌

Hardware specifications: The switch is equipped with 48 10GE/25GE SFP28 optical interfaces and 8 40GE/100GE QSFP28 optical interfaces, supporting backplane bandwidth of 4Tbps/64Tbps, packet forwarding rate of 2000Mpps, and built-in 32MB cache; The body size is 442 × 420 × 43.6mm, with a weight of 8.8kg. It adopts a dual power supply design (470W), supports AC/DC wide voltage input, and the air duct direction can be selected as port side inlet or outlet; The device also provides Console interface, ETH management interface (RJ45), and USB interface for easy configuration and maintenance. ‌

Interface features: 48 10GE/25GE SFP28 interfaces are divided into 12 interface groups (4 interfaces per group), which work at a default speed of 25G and do not support 1G/10G adaptation, but can be manually configured to 1G or 10G speed through commands; All interfaces within the same interface group must be configured with the same speed and consistent media (e.g. only 25GE modules or cables are supported at 25G speed). The 40GE/100GE QSFP28 interface is used for uplink connection and supports high-speed data transmission. ‌
