Description

CloudEngine 16808 is an enterprise-level data center core switch launched by Huawei. It belongs to the category of network communication equipment electronic products and is mainly applied in building large data center network environments with high bandwidth and low latency. This Data Center Switch adopts a modular design and supports flexible expansion, meeting the demands of high-performance computing scenarios such as cloud computing and virtualization.

Its core hardware configuration includes backplane bandwidth of 367Tbps/1548Tbps and packet forwarding rate of 230/400Mpps, equipped with 8 service slots and 6 switching network slots (expandable to 9). Based on the Clos switching architecture and cell switching technology, it supports the VoQ switching mechanism and achieves zero packet loss and microsecond-level latency guarantee through the iLossless algorithm. The network functions cover QoS flow classification, ACL policies, VLAN division and IGMP multicast protocol. The security features include 802.1x authentication and multiple network attack defense mechanisms. this Data Center Switch physical specifications are 483×985×703mm, weighing 123.9kg.
